Help Us Establish More Courthouse Dog Programs

Donate securely

More and more often, we are contacted by a parent asking if a facility dog is available to help their child testify against the person who harmed them. Some of these children have been abused by a family member, some are very young, and others are developmentally delayed or on the autism spectrum. These children want closure, but are afraid to even look at the accused, let alone testify against them.

We quickly search for a facility dog in their area and put out the call for help. While many courthouse dog handlers volunteer to travel great distances with their dogs to assist a child, often there is no one available to come to their aid. It is hard for us to tell a mother that her child will have to live through this ordeal without the help of a supportive, furry companion.

We want to see a courthouse facility dog in every community to help children feel safe enough to tell a jury what happened to them. Your contribution can help us achieve this goal.
